How does it work?


All sales are done online with the use of our Goods Causes™ fund raising site. After you have signed in to the program, we build a web page complete with a photo of your organization.  Then, you simply go to your address book and email an invitation to visit our site.  You will your fundraising goal to all your family and friends, providing your special code and web link.


Your guests will visit your unique Goods Causes™ fundraising site and make selections from a list of special items. The list changes with each holiday season. The supporter can also visit your web page to watch as you climb to your goal.


Participants receive their own administrative page which allows them to watch their sales and do the appropriate follow up as needed.  For each completed sale we recommend a “Thank You” note with encouragement to forward your letter and code to their family and friends.  Our product is not the usual processed, fundraising sweets.  We actually make right here in our store one of the largest selections of the finest chocolates, melt in your mouth fudge, golden caramel corn and fresh roasted covered nuts.  So, of course everyone will want to share in the fundraising/chocolate experience.  Each time an order is placed, you repeat the process.  


Individuals web pages will track all results and clearly show benchmarks for the prizes associated with sales.  This page is coded for your privacy.  Only the group coordinator and the individual will have access. 


The organizations web page will track total sales and illustrate levels for cash back, in addition to funds raised!  This page is easily viewed by everyone, so the excitement can be shared.

Traditional Style Fundraising


In addition to our online version, we offer the tried and true style fundraising as well.  It is designed for groups who wish to stay local with solicitations.  Please note, we cannot combine the online version with the traditional versions. 


We offer these options:


Pre-ordering

We provide all the proper order forms and information.  You approach your supporter and ask for an order from the list of items.  You collect the money at this time.  At the conclusion of your groups sale, you will tally the results on an order form.  This form is turned into us, along with monies owed, and fulfilled for pickup within 2 weeks.  You and your group will distribute product accordingly.


Bulk-Buying

We provide you a list of all the items available for you to sell, along with an order form.  You and your group will then decide on the amount of product you will sell.  Place your order, pre-pay the discounted price and sell at the suggested retail price.  Product will be available for pickup within 2 weeks of initial order.  Payment terms may be arranged if pre-payment is an issue.


Candy Bar Program

This program is very simple.  Purchase our extra large candy bars for $1 and sell for $2!  They come packed in neat boxes of 20.  Ask about our coupon ideas for extra cash.  (this program only)

Just like all of our fundraising programs, we offer short seminars on the selling of our fine chocolates, and continued support.  These seminars are by appointment.


Selling prizes are awarded at the end of each selling cycle.


These programs are available throughout the year and can begin and end at your discretion.

Frequently asked questions


How many coordinators does it take to operate this program?


It depends on the size of the group. At least one coordinator needs to be in contact with the participants. We recommend one coordinator per 25 participants.


How soon can we sign up?


Any time is ok for sign up.  Although we do have waiting lists at times, we will begin your campaign as soon as possible.


When are the prizes and money passed out?


Within two weeks of the end of the campaign we ship out all prizes and money.


Is there anyone we speak with should a need arise?


Yes, we are open seven days a week year round.


How do we know you will ship the product and provide the service?


Our “Good” reputation goes back to the 1940s.  When you make a sale to your customer, we then treat them as ours.  Our guarantee is 100%.  Should any problems arise with products, shipping or service, we are here to go the distance, including a full unconditional refund.


How much product can we expect to sell?


This program works if you and your group work at it.  Our expectation is to have each one of your group members sell to 30 people.  Some will sell to 5 or 10 and others will sell to 30 or 40.  Remember, the selling of the product is all you have to do, we do the rest!


How much profit do we make?


It depends on each item.  We try to average a 30% profit for you.  Example: 30 members, each selling to 30 people.  Average sale is $30.00.  That is 900 sales at $30.00 each which equals $27,000.00.  Your 30% is $8,100.00!


How easy is it to sell the products?


Selling is never easy; however, millions of boxes of chocolates and like products are shipped all over the country everyday.  You can be a part of that success with hard work and perseverance.
